March 07, 2016: Philips Electronics Bangladesh Private Limited (PEBPL), a subsidiary of The Netherlands based Royal Philips, today announced the expansion of its footprint in Bangladesh with the addition of 4 new national distributors for its Personal Health business. With this addition, PEBPL now has 5 direct national distributors that will help the company reach consumers in over 20 towns and cities across the country.
The Personal
Health distributors include well-known names like Butterfly Marketing Limited,
the first distributor that Philips introduced in 2015. The new distributors
include Best Electronics Limited, IPE Technologies Limited, Crystal Corporation
and Medical Fair. With the addition of these 5 authorized national
distributors, consumers will now have easy access to genuine Philips products with
all the Philips offerings such as warranty and after sales service.

PEBL has been present in Bangladesh since July 2011, and in July 2015 PEBPL announced the launch of its Personal Health business that includes Domestic Appliances, Male Grooming and Beauty, Air Purifiers, Pain Management devices and Mother & Child Care products.
PEBPL has already established a
strong retail footprint for its products focused on personal health and is
offering these across more than 1000 touch points, including traditional and
modern retail, in all major cities. Over the next few years, the company plans
to increase this footprint to over 10,000 touch points across Top 20 cities.
