National Board of Revenue and second largest mobile phone operator Robi Axiata Limited
have expressed
their desire to build on the excellent relationship for mutual benefits over
the coming days while celebrating the International
Customs Day on 26 January, 2017. The members of World Customs Organization
(WCO) including Bangladesh have observed the day. This year’s slogan for the
day was ‘Data Analysis for Effective Border Management’. During the greetings
in Dhaka Customs House Md. Lutfor Rahman, Commissioner; Shamim Ara Begum, Joint
Commissioner; Dr. Mohammad Tajul Islam, Joint Commissioner; Tafsir Uddin Bhuiyan,
Deputy Commissioner; Kanchan Rani Dutta, Deputy Commissioner and Robi’s Fahad
Mahmud, General Manager, Supply Chain Management (SCM); Mohd. Mahbubul Hoq, General
Manager, SCM and other senior officials from both organizations were present. While
in Chittagong Customs House, Hon’ble State Minister for Finance and Planning,
MA Mannan, MP; M Abdul Latif MP; Mahbub Hossain, Tax Commissioner, Chittagong
Customs House and Robi’s Ashrafuzzaman Sarker, Specialist, SCM; Md. Washim
Bari, Exceutive, SCM were present.
