US Embassy delegates visits Beximco Industrial Park

A delegation from the US Embassy Dhaka visited the Beximco Industrial Park in Savar recently.  They were welcomed by Mr. Syed Naved Husain, CEO and Group Director of Beximco Ltd.

The team visited the woven fabric manufacturing unit, yarn manufacturing factory, digital printing, washing plant, garment manufacturing unit, Shinepukur Ceramic factory and other units of Beximco Industrial Park.

Mr. Naved Husain explained that 'BEXIMCO' had attained the 'brand status' of one of the world's leading vertical manufacturers of fashion apparel, and had become an international employer of choice attracting the best talent from all over the world. He also informed them that international buyers found the scale and advanced technology used in Beximco`s Design and Manufacturing facilities unique and unmatched in the world.

The delegation was impressed by the size and capabilities of the facilities at the Industrial Park.  They especially enjoyed the beautiful, leafy campus which reminded them of a green holiday resort rather than an industrial campus manufacturing enormous volumes of garments and fabric.

The delegation was particularly appreciative of the Beximco business model, which focuses on delivering innovation and speed, as opposed on merely relying on cheap labour to offer low-priced, basic products to customers.  The delegation enjoyed the visit and indicated that they hoped to visit again soon and see more aspects of the Park.
